There is still a possibility your child can play this Fall. This depends on the overall number of players who have already registered; players may drop or moved out of town.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE, so get on the list to be on a team, you must do the following:

We at Region 908 strive to deliver & develop quality youth soccer programs where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, fair, safe, family environment based on the AYSO philosophies: Everyone plays, Balanced teams, Positive Coaching, Open Registration, Good Sportsmanship.

Region 908 represents the City of El Monte / South El Monte and the surrounding cities. Region 908 was established as a pilot region on August 27, 1993. The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) chartered the region in October 10, 1996.

Region 908 was started by a group of volunteers looking to find away of keeping kids off the streets. The program is run by non paid volunteers who spend approximately 20 hours a week making sure all children play. The first group of volunteers started the region with 127 children. The region since then has grown to over 470 children, and is still growing. The volunteers work with boys and girls ages.
4-1/2 through 18.
This year Region 908 is celebrating it's 13th anniversary.

We at AYSO Region 908 strive to deliver and develop quality youth soccer programs in a fun, family environment based on AYSO five Philosophies:

Everyone Plays:               At least half of every game.

Balanced Teams:             Skilled/Talented players are evenly distributed
                                            among all teams in a league to promote balanced competition.

Open Registration:          AYSO has sign-ups, not try-outs, as long as there is
                                             space on a team, every child who signs up will play.

Positive Coaching:           AYSO believes in building soccer skills and self-
                                             worth through encouragement and teaching.

Good Sportsmanship:      AYSO has active programs to promote positive
                                             behavior on the field and on the sidelines.
